Founded on faith, built on compassion, and committed to providing every individual the environment they need to grow.
I am the founder of The Sower's Community, a faith-based housing initiative dedicated to providing safe, stable, and supportive living environments for individuals in need of transitional housing.
Our focus is to serve vulnerable populations, including individuals living with mental health challenges, recently released from incarceration, veterans, and those experiencing homelessness. While we do not provide medical or clinical services, our mission is to offer a structured, secure, and respectful housing environment where individuals can stabilize, rebuild, and transition toward independence.
The Sower's Community is built on the belief that environment matters. By providing safe housing rooted in dignity, accountability, and compassion, we aim to support individuals as they reconnect with community resources, employment opportunities, and personal growth pathways.
"We are committed to collaborating with local organizations, agencies, and community partners to ensure residents have access to the external services they may need."
— Lacreatia Johnson, Founder & Executive Director

We maintain a structured, secure environment where every resident feels protected and at peace.
Every individual who walks through our doors is treated with respect, worth, and compassion — no exceptions.
We hold ourselves and our residents to a standard of responsibility that fosters growth and trust.
We believe in the power of connection — with neighbors, organizations, and each other.
While we do not provide medical or clinical services directly, we are committed to connecting residents with the external support they need.
Our role is to maintain a high-quality housing environment where individuals have the stability to access those services and pursue personal growth.
We are committed to collaborating with local organizations, agencies, and community partners to ensure residents have access to the external services they may need — while we focus on maintaining a high-quality housing environment.
